7th Post

Annnnddd, on the last day of the 7 posts in 7 days challenge, I come up dry.   So, in the hope that a picture is worth a thousand words, here is a picture post.  (Maybe face-less pictures are only worth 500 words, though)

Sparky loves to help Daddy make a fire.  He passes him the newspaper and the sticks and usually ends up with little black hands and a smudged face from the ashes.  Yay for boys!  :)

My little Rosebud bookworm, like she's always been.  This sight makes my heart so happy. :)

And we would really like it if some birds would visit us!  All we get is squirrels!  (The second pic is from the summer.)

Rosebud made a pie last night.  She got help with the pie crust, but the apple filling and the icing and the decoration were all her.  She fixed her hair and donned an apron and served us up with so much pride.  Her smile was radiant!
