A kind friend gave us the gift of a
moveable alphabet. Turtle is thrilled. She wants to spell all kinds of cool words -- like "jellybean" and "vegetable" and "umbrella" -- and I have a hard time getting her to practice on words like "cup" and "bug" and "mat." She really wants to read and write and its wonderful to see the drive that she has to learn this. She's so proud of what she's learning and so are we!
