Happy Birthday Rosebud!
Poor Rosebud had to wait 10 whole days after her actual birthday (of New Year's Eve) to get to celebrate her 2nd birthday! (Thankfully, she didn't know the difference!) But finally, last weekend I had the energy to make her some "choc-ete cupt-cakes" and have her little party -- complete with balloons blown up by Daddy and party hats master-minded and cut out by Turtle (with Mommy drawing, taping and stringing them).
Rosebud got a "carf" just like Mommy and Turtle-- she was feeling very left out!
She also got some Legos for her birthday -- which were a big hit. Rosebud calls them "Happy Birfday Legos" and Turtle calls them "Clay-gos" (?? I think she's confused with Play-do?)
Happy Birthday Rosebud! You are our little "pepper" and "pistol" :) -- the sunshine of our lives with your sparkly eyes and incorrigible smile. We love your snuggliness and your "twinkle toes" and even your rascally-ness. We love watching you grow and learn. Your favorite things now are reading books, books and more books, going to "Jesus' house," the nativity figures, jumping, climbing, working with water, caring for "Baby Annie" and brushing your teeth with "a LOT" of toothpaste -- and now holding your new sister! We love you very much!
